Monitoring and Evaluation: An introduction

Do you struggle with how to measure and describe the impact of your work? This introductory session will be delivered online via Teams, and will take you through the key practical steps involved in setting up monitoring of the work of your project, and how you can use evaluation to demonstrate its impact.

Through a mix of interactive presentations and group activities participants will learn:

  • The key differences between Monitoring and Evaluation
  • How to capture valuable data
  • How to use monitoring and evaluation to demonstrate impact
  • Practical tools for evidencing change

This online session will be delivered on Teams. A joining link will be sent closer to the time of the training. 

 

Our Support and Development team helps organisations to run successfully and make a positive difference in their communities. This training is for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations serving Newcastle and/or Gateshead.

You can only book one place for yourself. If a colleague wants to attend, they will need to book separately themselves. This training is limited to a maximum of 2 people per organisation. When you book, please ensure that you give us all the essential information requested so that we know your registration is genuine.

Our training and events are funded from a variety of sources, allowing us to offer them for free to eligible organisations. Please check the eligibility requirements for each session before signing up, as this varies from course to course. If your organisation is not eligible for a free session you may be interested in one of our tailored training packages.
